NATURE + MINDFULNESS = A PERFECT DAY!

The Summit Academy mindfulness class took learning outdoors, taking full advantage of the beautiful 71-degree weather!

Students gathered in a peaceful green space across from the school, where they practiced deep breathing, yoga 鈥渢ree pose,鈥 and mindful walking. They explored nature by noticing patterns in trees, moss, and leaves鈥攆ully engaging with their surroundings.

The experience brought a noticeable boost in mood, with students sharing that they felt refreshed, calm, and more focused. Even better, they were able to reflect on the mindfulness skills they can continue using in their daily lives.

A great reminder of the power of nature, movement, and simply being present.
